Module Download Help

The downloadable versions of each module will download as compressed files (.zip file type). Some computers can open these files natively, but others cannot and may require an additional program to be downloaded before they can be opened. Please read the instructions below based on the device that you’re using to access your content.

Mac OSX
On most Mac computers, no additional programs are required. To open a compressed file, double-click the downloaded file and allow your computer to “decompress” it. This process will create a new folder under the same name and your purchased content will be in this folder. From there, you can import your audio files into iTunes or the program of your choice. To add to your iTunes Library, move the folder to a place that it can remain permanently. Open iTunes, select “File” from the top menu bar, and then select “Add to Library” from the drop-down list. Locate and select your folder. From there, you listen to the tracks or import them onto a mobile device.

Windows
If you’re running Windows, we recommend the free open-source program 7-Zip, which you can download at www.7-zip.org. After you install the program, simply right-click your downloaded file and select “Extract to (file name)” from the list. It will create a new folder that will contain your content. To add to your iTunes Library, move the folder to a place that it can remain permanently. Open iTunes, select File from the top menu bar, and then select Add to Library from the drop-down list. Locate and select your folder. From there, you listen to the tracks or import them onto a mobile device.

Android
We recommend downloading the free app WinZip from the Play Store. After you have that downloaded, you’ll need to find your downloaded file in your notification center (pull down from the top of the screen) or in a Downloads or Documents folder. Touch your file to open and select the option to “Open in WinZip” when prompted. Your files will be stored here and you’ll be able to listen to them by returning to the app.

iPhone/iPad
You’ll need to download the free app WinZip. After you have done so, you’ll need to return to the Collegiate page and click on the Download. The download will open in a new tab. From there, select the button that says “Open in…” and select WinZip. You may need to tap the screen to get the button to appear. You can play your files at any time by returning to the WinZip app.
